Neji and Kiba - Yura Yura

To those who draw out there... Do you ever have times when you start drawing idly, then you somehow become sucked into all of the detail and mechanics of the drawing, so much so that all of your attention and focus is on what your pencil is doing at that very moment on the paper? Yeah. This is mine. =3 Pencil and paper, in the end, is my thing.

Sooo... I just watched episode 220 today, the very, very last episode of the regular Naruto, ever. I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but I'm glad it's gone. Filler after filler after filler does not an entertaining anime make. I am a little sad that the little runt won't be running around Konoha bugging people anymore, but mostly, I'm glad he'll be getting some growth on soon. The show needs it. Naruto was (and still is, to an extent) a huge factor in my own personal style as an artist, especially expression-wise. Along with Kingdom Hearts, Fruits Basket, Kare Kano, Black Cat, CardCaptor Sakura, and even Digimon and Pokemon, Naruto has always been a basic to anything I draw. The result from the mish-mash of styles I've collected over the years is what I hope is my own style. =3 I'll be a sad cookie when Naruto finally gets that Hokage hat that he's always wanted.

So, yeah. This is in response to the last Naruto episode in-which-the-boy-midgets-are-still-boy-midgets-barring-Neji-because-he's-closer-to-legal. XD If you've been following the fillers as much as I have (read: seen the last five episodes to get caught up on the filler-line and stuff XD), you'll remember Kiba and Neji's outfits - it's what they're wearing in the title credits when they're chillin' by that chain-link fence. They look so cute, I knew I had to draw at least my two babies, Kiba and Neji. XD I'm not claiming them, btw - I call a lot of people my babies. X3 *cough*noiwasnotlazyonneji'sfistwhatareyoutalkingabout*cough* XD And there was no yaoi intent here, just two of my favorites trying to look badarse. If you don't see it, good. If you do, more power to ya. =3

... darnit, if those two do not get past legal soon, i just may have to consider the age of consent a mere suggestion. D= shippudenstartnoooooow.

... Right, I'll be getting to those commissions now.

Mechanical pencil, 0.5 HB lead, A4 printer paper, cleaned and tinted in Photoshop Elements 2. Four hours.
